Rebecca Rees is a Solicitor who has headed the Civil Litigation Team at JNP Legal since 2015. She has more recently become Head of the Wills and Probate team.
Rebecca joined JNP Legal in 2008 from University, and commenced her training contract shortly afterwards. Rebecca advises individuals and businesses on most aspects of Civil Law. As a department head, Rebecca undertakes complex litigation, including high value contested probate and serious injury work.

She is highly experienced in both Claimant and Defendant litigation, including debt recovery, professional negligence claims, civil actions against the police, claims for wrongful interference with goods/delivery up, and inheritance act cases. Rebecca has considerable experience conducting multitrack and catastrophic injury work, including clinical negligence cases.

Louise’s particular area of expertise focuses on Private and Public proceedings concerning the welfare of children appearing at all court levels. She has practiced in this area representing parents, extended family members and other intervenors but the emphasis in more recent years has been in representing solely the children subject of the proceedings either by their Cafcass Guardians or acting independently and instructed directly by the child. In this field she has experience of complex cases involving sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect of children.

Lewis joined the firm in November 2018 as a Paralegal before commencing his Training contract. He is now a Trainee Solicitor in the Civil Litigation Team.
