The Role

We’re seeking a Secretarial Administrator to join our Life Time Planning (Wills and Probate) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic environment, assisting with matters such as wills, probate, powers of attorney, and estate administration.

Experience in Life Time Planning would be desirable but is not essential—we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn although typist experience (ideally within a legal environment) is an essential aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including managing schedules and coordinating meetings.
  • Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring effective phone etiquette at all times.
  • Support with administrative and typist duties to maintain efficiency within the team.
  • Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external parties, providing clear updates and addressing queries.
  • Support fee earners and others within the team in the preparation of documentation, including wills, LPAs, and probate applications.
  • Handle reception duties, including answering calls, greeting clients, and managing appointment scheduling when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a professional services support role (Life Time Planning experience is a plus but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal case management software.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Professional and welcoming attitude when engaging with clients and visitors.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.
  • Fully funded private health insurance.
  • A chance to work in a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
