JNP Legal Proudly Announces Director’s Role as Business Ambassador for 2wish Cymru

JNP Legal is delighted to announce that Rebecca Rees, one of our directors, has taken on the role of Business Ambassador for the charity 2wish Cymru. This new position was officially launched during the Meet the Neighbours Networking Event in Pontyclun on 25 April 2024.

 

2wish Cymru was founded in 2012 by Rhian Mannings MBE, driven by her personal tragedy—the sudden loss of her young son George and husband Paul within days of each other. The charity aims to provide immediate and ongoing support to families grappling with the sudden death of a child or young person under 25. Its services include professional counselling, complementary therapies, and bereavement suites in A&E departments across Wales, reflecting a commitment to filling the support gap Rhian herself experienced.

 

Rebecca's involvement as a Business Ambassador is a natural extension of her professional life at JNP Legal, where she has extensive experience advising clients in inquests, medical negligence, and serious accident claims. "We have a deeply ingrained commitment to supporting charities, community groups, and worthwhile causes," Rebecca stated. "This aligns perfectly with our ethos at JNP Legal. Understanding the immense challenges faced by families dealing with sudden bereavement, we frequently refer clients to 2wish Cymru, knowing that their compassionate assistance can provide invaluable comfort and guidance during such difficult times."

 

Rebecca expressed her enthusiasm about her new role: "I chose to become a 2wish Cymru Business Ambassador because I am passionate about supporting causes that make a meaningful impact. By leveraging my expertise, I hope to play a vital role in advancing the mission of 2wish Cymru and making a positive difference in the lives of those they serve."
