Genette Jones is the Head of Property and a Senior Associate Solicitor at JNP Legal, bringing over 20 years of experience in property law. Her expertise lies in managing high-volume residential property transactions and supervising legal teams to deliver exceptional client service.

Before joining JNP Legal, Genette held a senior leadership role at another well-established legal firm with a strong presence in South Wales.

Genette has been instrumental in the establishment and management of JNP Legal’s successful residential conveyancing department, taking a hands-on approach in team recruitment, supervision, and training while maintaining high service standards and fostering strong client relationships.

Known for her client-centric approach, Genette is dedicated to supporting professional development, frequently involved in the training and supervision of junior solicitors, trainees, and legal assistants.

Experience and Expertise

Genette’s extensive career has equipped her with in-depth knowledge and skills across all areas of property law, including:

  • Residential Conveyancing: Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, unregistered properties, lease extensions, transfers of equity, shared ownership, Help to Buy schemes, and re-mortgages.
  • High-Volume Case Management: Managing large caseloads and maintaining service excellence, even under pressure.
  • Client Management: Acting for a diverse range of clients, with many returning for her reliable and client-focused approach.
  • Supervision and Training: Mentoring junior solicitors and trainees to ensure the Property Team maintains its high standards of professionalism and expertise.
