Josie Flicker

Work

Josie joined JNP Legal in 2002 as a trainee solicitor and became an accredited police station representative in the same year. She completed her training contract in 2004 and qualified as a Solicitor, specialising exclusively in criminal law.

Since 2006, Josie has been a Duty Solicitor, and in 2010 she became a Higher Court Advocate (Criminal Law). She holds the Law Society’s Criminal Litigation Accreditation, is a Legal Aid Supervisor, and is a member of the Criminal Law Solicitors Association (CLSA). Josie also holds an LLB (Hons), LPC, and various specialist qualifications in Duty Solicitor and Higher Court Advocacy.

In addition to her role as a solicitor, Josie is the Training Principal and Data Protection Manager at JNP Legal. She is also a member of the Test Board at Cardiff University’s Centre for Professional Legal Studies, where she delivers training and assessments for the Police Station Accreditation Scheme and the Magistrates Court Qualification Scheme.

Josie practices in criminal and regulatory law, regularly providing representation at the police station, as well as in the youth court and adult magistrates court. She is a Higher Court Advocate.  She also instructs Counsel in the Crown Court and Misconduct cases.

Interests

Outside of work, Josie enjoys exercise and spending time in the great outdoors.
