Kate Morey is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Civil Litigation Department at JNP Legal.

Kate joined the firm in 2012 as a Paralegal and completed her training contract, qualifying as a solicitor in 2015.

Kate specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence claims, with a particular focus on high-value and complex claims. In addition to representing clients in their claims for damages, Kate plays an active role in the supervision and training of trainee solicitors, paralegals, and legal assistants within the department.

Kate is dedicated to ensuring that cases are thoroughly investigated and consistently provides exceptional service to her clients. She goes above and beyond to exceed client expectations. A key focus for Kate when acting for clients is arranging timely rehabilitation to assist with recovery from injuries, investigating all aspects of the case, and making the process as stress-free as possible for clients, particularly at a time when they are dealing with significant injuries caused by negligence.

Experience and Expertise

Kate has worked in civil litigation throughout her career and represents Claimants who have suffered injuries due to road traffic accidents, workplace incidents, occupiers’ and public liability cases, as well as injuries resulting from clinical negligence.

She has extensive experience handling catastrophic and serious injury claims, and is well-versed in managing matters allocated to the Multi-Track. Additionally, Kate represents bereaved families in Fatal Accident claims.

Kate is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is an accredited Senior Litigator. She is also an approved solicitor in the Headway Solicitors Directory.

Interests

Outside of work Kate enjoys keeping active with gym classes and going on long walks. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
