Work

Laurie qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 at a well-regarded, high-street practice and has since dedicated her career exclusively to family law, bringing over 15 years of experience to the team. Before joining JNP Legal in 2022, Laurie played an integral role in the family law team at another leading South Wales firm. She has been regularly recognised in Wales’ Legal 500 rankings and is currently named as a “Leading Associate.” Laurie is also a member of the Family Law Panel and a Legal Aid Supervisor.

As an Associate Solicitor, Laurie undertakes all aspects of family law and works closely with team members, assisting in the supervision and mentoring of junior staff. She is also responsible for monitoring Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance within the team.

She undertakes all aspects of family law including:

• Finance
• Prenuptial agreements
• Cohabitation disputes
• Separation agreements
• Children matters
• Domestic Abuse
• Change of name.

Laurie is known for her reliable, approachable, and compassionate approach. She builds strong client relationships while remaining constructive and solution-focused in resolving disputes.

Interests

Laurie is married with two young daughters and enjoys taking on home renovation projects in her spare time. Since 2020, she has been studying British Sign Language (BSL) and is currently completing Level 4. Laurie is happy to assist clients who prefer to communicate through BSL.
