Work

Lee is a Director and the Head of our Family & Divorce Department.

Lee joined JNP Legal as a trainee Solicitor in 2006 and completed his training contract in 2008, qualifying into the Family & Divorce Department. He became a Director at JNP Legal in 2019.

Lee is a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel, which recognises that he is an accredited specialist in all aspects of Family Law.

He is also a member of Resolution, which promotes a constructive approach to family issues that considers the needs of the whole family.

Experience and Expertise

Lee advises on all aspects of Family & Divorce Law, with a particular emphasis on Divorce, Separation, and Children Act matters.

He advises and represents clients in the following areas:

• Financial remedy cases in divorce proceedings involving significant assets, overseas property, business interests, and pensions
• Cohabitation disputes, including applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996
• Complex child arrangement matters before the Family Court involving the living arrangements for children and the time they spend with their parents following the breakdown of family relationships.

Lee is known for giving clients clear and concise advice and representing them in a robust manner while taking a pragmatic approach to resolving their problems.

Interests

Outside of work, Lee enjoys reading, cooking, and keeping fit by running, swimming, and playing badminton. He also enjoys foreign travel and exploring new places.
