Rebecca Rees is a highly skilled Solicitor and Director at JNP Legal, having led the Civil Litigation Team since 2015. She became a Director in 2019 and has been with the firm since 2008, shortly after completing her studies at Cardiff University.

Rebecca advises both individuals and businesses across a wide range of Civil Law matters. She handles complex litigation, including high-value contested probate and serious injury cases. Her expertise spans both Claimant and Defendant litigation, covering areas such as debt recovery, professional negligence claims, civil actions against the police, wrongful interference with goods, and probate disputes under the Inheritance Act. Additionally, Rebecca is highly experienced in catastrophic injury work, including clinical negligence cases. Rebecca is an accredited Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Rebecca’s in-depth knowledge and experience have also led her to work on a Welsh Government project aimed at introducing alternative entry routes into the legal profession.

As a member of the JNP Legal Senior Management Team, Rebecca holds responsibility for client care and quality, ensuring that the firm maintains the highest standards in its services. She also serves as the Community and Social Responsibility Officer, demonstrating her commitment to both the firm and the wider community.

Interests

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and friends. Rebecca is passionate about supporting local charities and giving back to the community. Rebecca is proud to serve as a Business Ambassador for 2Wish, a charity that provides vital support to families dealing with the sudden loss of a child or young person under the age of 25.
