Vanessa joined the firm in July 2016 and brings with her an impressive 30 years of experience in legal practice. She began her career as a legal typist/secretary in the Family & Divorce Department, where she gained valuable experience working on divorces and Private Law proceedings, such as Contact Orders and Live with Orders. Over the past 20+ years, Vanessa has focused her expertise on Public Law Proceedings, where she has become a highly experienced practitioner.

Vanessa has developed significant proficiency in advising parents on all aspects of Public Law, particularly in relation to the Public Law Outline (PLO) Process, which is initiated by Local Authorities to avoid Care Proceedings. Additionally, Vanessa has experience with Special Guardianship Applications, offering comprehensive support to clients during these challenging proceedings.

Interests

Vanessa regularly attends the gym, enjoys walking coastal paths, socialising with friends, going out for food and holidays.
