Another Year of Quality: JNP Legal Lexcel Reaccreditation Confirmed

JNP Legal has just completed its annual Lexcel audit, and we’re pleased to confirm that our accreditation has been renewed for another year.

Lexcel, the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark, is awarded only to firms demonstrating excellence in legal practice management and client care. Following a thorough independent review by Recognising Excellence, our reaccreditation confirms that JNP Legal continues to meet – and exceed – the high standards expected of Lexcel-accredited firms.

We’d like to thank the Lexcel auditors from Recognising Excellence for their professional and thorough review, and we’re especially grateful to our employees for their hard work in maintaining these high standards every day.

Why it matters that JNP Legal is Lexcel, CQS and WIQS accredited

When you’re choosing a law firm, you need to know you’re dealing with professionals who meet high standards. At JNP Legal, we hold three key accreditations:

These are not just badges – they mean something for you and the service you receive.

What is Lexcel?

Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark. It’s only awarded to firms that meet high standards in client care, case management, and risk management.

What this means for you:

  • Your case is handled efficiently and consistently
  • Our team is well-trained, supported and supervised
  • Your personal data is handled securely and confidentially
  • You receive clear communication, transparent cost information and regular updates.

We’re independently assessed every year to keep this accreditation. That means our systems and procedures are regularly tested and improved.

What is CQS?

The Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) is the Law Society’s mark of quality for residential conveyancing. It’s only given to firms who show they follow best practice and provide a reliable service.

If you’re buying or selling a home, CQS means:

  • You’re working with a firm recognised by lenders and estate agents
  • You get clear advice with no hidden costs
  • We follow a standard and trusted process, reducing the risk of delays or errors.

CQS gives confidence that your transaction is being handled properly.

What is WIQS?

The Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS) sets the standard for private client work such as Wills, probate, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

For you, this means:

  • You receive straightforward, jargon-free advice
  • We follow a strict code of conduct and good practice
  • You’re treated with respect, sensitivity and professionalism.

We know that writing a Will or dealing with someone’s estate can be emotional and complex. WIQS accreditation shows we handle it with the care and competence it deserves.

Why these accreditations matter

Many firms speak of high-quality service - our accreditations provide independent validation of that commitment. Awarded by the Law Society and rigorously assessed by external reviewers, they demonstrate that we not only meet recognised standards but continually strive to improve and exceed them.

If you’re a current client, you can feel confident that your case is being handled properly. If you’re thinking of instructing us, these accreditations are one reason to trust that you’ll be in good hands.
