JNP Legal Becomes One of the First Legal Firms in South Wales to Partner with NCDV, Strengthening Support for Domestic Abuse Victims
We are delighted to announce a new partnership with the National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV), which reinforces our commitment to providing urgent legal assistance to victims of domestic abuse. As one of the first legal firms in South Wales to collaborate with NCDV, we will offer expert support to individuals in need, helping them secure protective orders such as Non-Molestation Orders.
The NCDV is dedicated to ensuring that victims of domestic abuse can access swift legal protection. Through this partnership, referrals from NCDV will be directed our experienced Family Department, who will work diligently to secure the necessary legal safeguards for those at risk.
Lee Davies, Head of the Family Department at JNP Legal, commented:
“We are looking forward to working collaboratively with NCDV to ensure that their service users obtain the support and representation they need in securing the Court Orders required to protect themselves from domestic abuse. It is a privilege to be appointed onto their panel of solicitors.”
Sharon Bryan, Head of Partnerships & Development of Domestic Abuse Services at NCDV, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be working in partnership with JNP Legal. We have recently expanded our service to Wales, and it is crucial that we have the support of Welsh law firms to help us assist victims and survivors of domestic abuse. In 2024, NCDV handled just over 102,000 referrals, with 60% coming from police forces across England and Wales and the remaining 40% from other statutory and voluntary organisations. We rely on law firms such as JNP Legal to support those referred to us in obtaining protective injunctions. We look forward to working in partnership with JNP Legal now and in the future.”
JNP Legal has a long-standing dedication to supporting vulnerable individuals through expert legal guidance. This collaboration marks a significant step in our ongoing efforts to provide timely and effective legal support for those in crisis.
