Join Our Team:  

Are you a seasoned Family Solicitor looking for a stimulating career move? JNP Legal is actively seeking an accomplished legal professional with at least two years of post-qualification experience to join our esteemed team.

Role Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and skilled Family Solicitor to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in family law, with a demonstrated track record of handling a variety of complex cases independently. The role involves managing a diverse caseload that includes divorce proceedings, child contact disputes, financial settlements, and more. There will likely be an element of Legal Aided work so recent experience with Legal Aid contracting and its requirements is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a wide range of family law cases from inception to resolution
  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Conducting legal research, drafting documents, and representing clients in court proceedings
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Keep clients informed at every stage, providing clear and concise updates on the progress of their transactions and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the firm's success through teamwork and shared expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Department to streamline processes and optimise efficiency in handling multiple cases simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in family law
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and case law
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a demanding caseload efficiently
  • Proven track record of achieving favourable outcomes for clients
  • Membership in the Law Society and relevant accreditations are preferred
  • Proficiency in using relevant case management software
